HeartBridge was built from a deeply personal story.
Growing up, I was blessed to have a nanny named Marci Burkos who became so much more than a caregiver. She was a constant source of love, stability, encouragement, and safety throughout my childhood, and even into adulthood. When Marci passed away, I realized just how life-changing the right caregiver can be—not only for a child, but for an entire family. HeartBridge was created in her honor with one simple dream: to help every family find their own "Marci."
Our mission is to connect families with caregivers who do more than simply watch children. We strive to build lasting relationships where caregivers become trusted mentors, role models, and an extension of your family's village. We believe children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and genuinely known.
Because your child's safety is our highest priority, every HeartBridge caregiver completes a thorough hiring and training process before joining our team. This includes comprehensive background checks, CPR and First Aid certification, mandatory reporter training, emergency preparedness, scenario-based childcare training, and ongoing education to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional care with confidence and compassion.

Need a sitter on short notice? Our on-call service is designed for those unexpected moments. With as little as 24 hours' notice, we'll match your family with a trusted caregiver for up to 4 hours of care.
